Environmental Conservation Volunteer Work

When we were in Australia (Team Convent), we did 80 hours of environmental conservation work at various sites, including Newcastle and Murrurundi (New South Wales).
The work we did included removing Balloon vine, weeding Lantana/Bitou bush, water testing and tree planting and restoration, we did this with an organisation known as CVA (Conservation Volunteers Australia).
We had to wear a high vis vest and a proper Aussie hat throughout the work, gardening gloves and secateurs became our best friends! Haha

Working hard on our morning tea break!
