Newcastle and Blackbutt Nature Reserve

For our second week of volunteer work we stayed in Newcastle in New South Wales, north of Sydney. we stayed in a volunteer house known as the beach hut because it was only a five minute walk to the beach, we also visited Blackbutt nature reserve and Glenrock national park while staying there.

Newcastle is the second largest city in New South Wales after Sydney, it's full of pubs and bars and has a great beach and rockpools as well as plenty shops and trails to walk.
